1. Scope of This Privacy Agreement
This Privacy Agreement applies to Funi, a calming iOS droplet merge game. It covers the current MVP version described by the app: free droplet merging, theme selection, local settings, haptics, sound, particles, droplet catalog images, and optional export sharing.
If Funi later introduces accounts, cloud sync, purchases, ads, analytics, leaderboards, social features, or online community functions, we may update this Privacy Agreement and provide additional notices or choices as required by law.
2. Information Funi Currently Handles
Funi is designed as a local-first experience. In the current version, we do not intentionally collect personal information through account registration, social login, remote analytics, advertising identifiers, or online leaderboards.
Local app preferences
Funi may save settings on your device, such as sound feedback, haptic feedback, particle trails, flow speed, liquid viscosity, and selected theme. These settings help restore your preferred experience the next time you open the app.
Local catalog images
If you choose to add or change a catalog image cover, Funi may access the specific image you select through Apple's photo picker and store a local copy or local reference on your device for display inside the app.
Gameplay exports
If you export or share a merged result, Funi may generate a local screenshot or share text so the Apple system share sheet can send it to the destination you choose.
Contact emails
If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message content, device details, screenshots, app version, and region.
3. How We Use Information
We use information only for purposes reasonably connected to Funi and your request, including to:
- Provide and remember your local app experience, including preferences and theme choices.
- Display catalog covers you choose from your photo library.
- Enable optional export or sharing through device-level tools.
- Respond to support, privacy, legal, or feedback emails that you send us.
- Maintain app safety, troubleshoot problems, and improve future versions.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, security, and consumer protection obligations.
4. Device Permissions and Apple Tools
Funi may rely on Apple-provided device features. Your device and iOS settings control these permissions.
- Photo library or photo picker: used only when you choose to add or change a local catalog image cover. Funi should not need broad access to your entire photo library when Apple's limited picker is used.
- Haptics and sound: used for droplet contact, merge feedback, and interaction feedback. You can adjust these in the app or through device settings.
- Share sheet: used only when you choose to export or share a result. The destination app or service handles the shared item under its own privacy policy.
6. Retention and Deletion
Local settings and local catalog covers are generally stored on your device until you change them, remove them, delete app data, or uninstall Funi. Email communications may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
You can request assistance by contacting us at Funi-yb@163.com. Because the current app is local-first and does not require an account, we may not be able to identify app data stored only on your device.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the current app. However, no app, device, storage method, or electronic communication is completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, backups, iCloud settings, and any third-party apps or services you use to share Funi exports.
8. Children's Privacy
Funi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at Funi-yb@163.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
Where laws set a higher age threshold for consent, such as certain Canadian provinces, Singapore, Australia, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions, we will apply the relevant standard where required.
9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about how personal information is processed. You may also have rights to complain to a local privacy or data protection authority.
To make a privacy request, email Funi-yb@163.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and respond to your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights required by law.
For local-only app data, you can often exercise control directly on your device by changing settings, replacing catalog covers, deleting app data, or uninstalling Funi.
10. Regional Privacy Notices
United States and California
For California residents, this section is intended to address relevant rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act where applicable. In the current MVP, Funi does not sell personal information, does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information for purposes of inferring characteristics.
California residents may request to know, access, correct, delete, and receive information about certain personal information practices where applicable. Because Funi currently does not use accounts or remote analytics, many app settings and catalog images may exist only on your device.
Canada
Where Canadian privacy laws apply, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws, we process personal information only for identified, reasonable purposes and with appropriate consent or another legal basis recognized by law. You may request access or correction by contacting us.
Singapore
Where Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act applies, we will collect, use, or disclose personal data for reasonable purposes with consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law. You may contact us about access, correction, withdrawal of consent, and privacy questions.
Australia
Where the Australian Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles apply, you may request access to or correction of personal information, and you may contact us with privacy complaints. We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.
Other regions
If privacy laws in your region grant additional rights, we will respect those rights where they apply to Funi and to the information involved.
11. Changes to This Privacy Agreement
We may update this Privacy Agreement to reflect changes in Funi, legal requirements, or privacy practices. The effective date at the top shows when this version became effective.
If a future update materially changes how Funi handles personal information, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as an in-app notice, updated document, or other method required by law.
